terolBorn in Nicosia, Cyprus in 1966. Graduated from department of Engineering Sciences in METU in Ankara, MBA in EMU in Cyprus. She worked in Cyprus until the date she went to London in 2002 for an education in Graphic Design in Kensington and Chelsea College. After being interested in Photography while she was living in London, she took courses on photography in Central Saint Martins College. She worked for the Labour Party as a Graphic Designer in London head office until her return to the island in 2009. Since then she is working for the Republican Turkish Party in Nicosia.

Because of her interest on diverse cultures and social issues, her photography is mostly on people, life, travel and cultures. She took part in two group exhibitions while she was in London. In 2010, after her return to Cyprus, she participated in 'How Much' Contemporary Art Exhibition in Nicosia. She took part in the organization of the 'Futureless Lives' group photography exhibition showing the life of the Palestinians in Palestinian Refugee Camps in Lebanon. She is the first Turkish Cypriot Woman Photographer to get a FIAP Medal. She is the winner of the CPS Pancyprian Competition 2014. Her works have been exhibited in 3rd International Biennial of Fine Art and Documentary Photography, in Spain.

She is one of the first Turkish Cypriot women's awarded AFIAP. She had her first exhibition with the other AFIAP Turkish Cypriot woman Buket Ozatay in 2014. She has been awarded many times in national and international competitions.
